Crouse is looking for AI/ML engineers for research and developing approaches to enable the use of AI/ML for a wide range of applications in the automotive industry. In this role, the engineer will contribute across the entire AI/ML lifecycle in a highly collaborative environment, and will develop AI/ML methodologies to address a variety of sensing needs in vehicles, deploy models on various platforms, and actively participate in validation and testing. 

Responsibilities

Research for AI/ML approaches and tools
Develop processes and methods for the development lifecycle of AI/ML functions
Develop AI/ML production infrastructure and extend existing libraries and frameworks
Develop AI/ML software based on related frameworks
Deploy AI/ML models on various software or hardware platforms
Design, implementation, and execution AI/ML tests and experiments

Requirements

Bachelor: Electrical Engineering / Computer and IT
In-depth knowledge of AI/ML approaches and tools
Experience in the development of AI/ML algorithms for real-world applications
Strong programming skills in Python, C++, MATLAB, or other relevant languages
Experience working in AI/ML application deployments
Working knowledge of at least one of the common AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, …
Experience in general software engineering principles
Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and algorithms
Familiarity with common software development tools such as SVN, Git, and Jira
Self-driven interest in AI/ML and familiarity with recent advances of state-of-the-art
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred requirements:

Publication record in top conferences and journals in AI/ML field
Experience in agile development methods such as Scrum
Experience in working with embedded or other hardware platforms such as Nvidia, Raspberry Pi, Intel boards
Experience in working with sensors such as cameras, Lidar, Radar, …
Experience with software development in Linux
Experience in the automotive industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills

Working days and hours
Saturday to Wednesday 7:00 – 16:00 (Floating Time: 2 Hours)
